How the trial works
Open FlickVPN's page
The button takes you to FlickVPN's own sign-up page. Check the price it shows there: on 30 October 2026 it read "3-day free trial, then $11.99/month".
Confirm with Apple Pay
FlickVPN's sign-up is built for Apple Pay on iPhone, and its page says no payment is taken today. You need to be 18 or older to sign up.
Decide before day 3
Keep it and you are charged $11.99, then again every month. If you don't want it, cancel at get.flickvpn.com/cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Where it helps
- Coffee shop and restaurant Wi-Fi
- Airport and train station networks
- Hotel and rental Wi-Fi
- Coworking and campus networks
- Streaming and browsing while you travel
What you get
256-bit AES encryption
Traffic between your iPhone and FlickVPN's servers is encrypted, using the IKEv2 VPN protocol. The owner of the Wi-Fi network and other people on it see an encrypted connection, not the sites you visit.
A no-logs policy
FlickVPN's privacy policy (updated March 2026) says it does not log your browsing, DNS queries, IP addresses or connection times. It keeps your email, subscription status and billing records, with payments handled by Stripe.
Up to 5 devices
One subscription covers up to 5 devices. FlickVPN's pricing page lists iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac, unlimited bandwidth and 24/7 support.
Servers in other countries
Pick a server location when you travel. The pricing page lists 80+ servers in 25+ countries; the home page says 40+ server locations.
What it costs and how to cancel
- Free trial
- 3 days with full access. FlickVPN's page says no payment is taken today. The trial is free; the service is not.
- After the trial
- $11.99 a month, charged automatically when the trial ends and every month after that until you cancel.
- How to cancel
- At get.flickvpn.com/cancel (enter your email), in your FlickVPN account settings, or by emailing support@flickvpn.com. You pay FlickVPN directly, not through the App Store, so the subscription does not appear in your iPhone's App Store subscriptions.
- Deadline
- FlickVPN's sign-up terms say to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds
- The pricing page offers a 7-day money-back guarantee, while the Terms of Use say there are no refunds for partial billing periods. Don't count on a refund: cancel before the trial ends if you don't want to pay.
- Who can sign up
- 18 and over, on an iPhone, in the United States through our link.

What a VPN does, and what it doesn't
A VPN encrypts the connection between your phone and the VPN's server, so the people running a public network can't read your traffic or see which sites you open. It does not make you anonymous, block malware or phishing, or replace strong passwords; FlickVPN's own terms say it can't guarantee absolute anonymity.
Streaming services decide what they show in each country and some block VPN connections, so a VPN does not guarantee that a particular show will play. Use each service within its own terms.
Questions people ask
Is FlickVPN free?
Only for the first 3 days. The trial turns into a paid subscription at $11.99 a month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Do I need to download an app from the App Store?
Not to start: the sign-up runs on FlickVPN's website with Apple Pay. For help connecting your devices, FlickVPN lists 24/7 support at support@flickvpn.com.
Why iPhone only?
The trial offer behind our link is set up for iPhone and Apple Pay, and it only accepts iPhone sign-ups. If you are reading this on a computer or an Android phone, open the page on your iPhone.
How do I cancel?
Go to get.flickvpn.com/cancel and enter the email you signed up with, use your account settings, or email support@flickvpn.com. Because FlickVPN bills you directly through Stripe, cancelling in the App Store will not stop it.
What does FlickVPN keep about me?
According to its privacy policy: your email, a hashed password, your subscription status, billing records from Stripe and any support emails. It says it keeps no record of the sites you visit, your DNS queries, your IP address or when you connect.
How is IdeaToSoftware paid?
We earn a commission from FlickVPN, through an affiliate network, when you start a subscription through our link. The price you pay is the same.
